New impulses for production
Interview with Andreas Binggeli
We welcomed Andreas Binggeli to our Production department on 1 April 2024. With his extensive technical expertise and innovative ideas, he will further optimise our production processes and increase quality.
Andreas, welcome to CREAMETAL AG! Tell us about your career and your professional experience to date.
Thank you very much! I'm delighted to be here. I am a trained metalworker and have worked as a plant and apparatus engineer. My experience also includes working as a laser machinist, machine operator and machine setter. Over the last twelve years, I have been intensively involved in setting up milling machines.
What made you decide to become part of the CREAMETAL team?
The prospect of a new challenge appealed to me. CREAMETAL has a great reputation in the industry and is known for its uncomplicated and versatile way of working. Here I can apply and combine the professional experience I have gained so far.
What innovative ideas and approaches do you have to further increase our production efficiency and quality?
One of my ideas is to design work facilitators, such as special trolleys for the parts produced. I would also like to optimise the cutting parameters of our laser machines to increase efficiency.
What trends do you see in the industry?
In my opinion, automation and the use of robots are essential for the future of successful production. These technologies can significantly increase efficiency and precision.
In your opinion, how important is collaboration and communication within the production team?
Collaboration and communication are extremely important. Only by working together can we achieve our goals and avoid misunderstandings. The first few weeks were intensive and full of new impressions. There was a lot to learn and get to know, but all in a positive way.
Finally, what are your long-term goals at CREAMETAL?
In the long term, I would like to develop professionally, especially in the programming of laser machines. I want to be able to familiarise myself with and operate all the machines, including main assembly. My goal is to understand all aspects of CREAMETAL, from the operating system to the milling machine.
